Tuscany
Toscane Rouhi, alias TOSCANE, is a French artist born in Paris on 3 April 1999 to an Iranian father and a French mother. Her career has been marked by international life experiences, He lived in Morocco, the Netherlands, Suriname and Japan before returning to settle in the French capital.
From the age of two, TOSCANE discovered art and developed a passion for painting. Her parents enrolled her in’acrylic and watercolour, His brushes became his constant companions, going everywhere with him. Fascinated by the paintings of the Fauves, she was carried away by the liveliness of the colours, which nourished her dreams..
In 2020, she decided to take off for the Japan, where she immerses herself in learning traditional techniques from Japanese masters, which have profoundly enriched his work.
His artistic universe, now well defined, is expressed through Mona, his symbolic alter ego, and a white animal representing protection and healing. Japanese characters on Mona's coat become mantras, witnesses to the quest for meaning and survival of Tuscany.
