Mihoub

Born in 1976 in Oran, Mihoub is a French artist of Algerian origin. Visit 2001, he leaves for San Francisco, in search of new adventures and inspired by « The Alchemist »by Paolo Coehlo.

Wandering through the streets of the city centre, he discovered the many art galleries, the trendy surreal and the’expressionist abstraction post-war period.

He draws his inspiration from artists such as Pollock or Dubuffet, an adept of a raw creation and spontaneous. But also from the stage Street Art the New York of the 80s with; Rammellzee for his «I'm a New Yorker" side.« Mystical & Spiritual »A-Une for his «Urban Expressionism» and finally Basquiat for his «Urban Expressionism".« rage to paint ».

Visit 2014, he moved to Marseille, He became an ambassador for the colour manufacturer Pébéo, and went on to shine all over the world, with more than fifty « Live Paintings ».

Ten years later, he decided to set up his studio in a peaceful location conducive to creative activity at Lançon de Provence. His work can be seen in several galleries in France and abroad.
