Onemizer
Founded in 1987, Onemizer is a French artist whose career lies at the intersection of street art and contemporary art. Part of his childhood spent in Africa nurtured his visual sensitivity from an early age: colour, spontaneity of movement and observation of everyday life became the first foundations of his artistic language. Back in France, he discovered the world of Parisian graffiti and taught himself the codes of lettering, spray painting and mural expression. Wastelands, ring road walls and railway tracks became his first studios.
Gradually, Onemizer transfers this raw energy onto canvas. He explores a wide range of techniques — spray paint, stencils, markers, acrylic paint, collage — demonstrating true versatility and great creative freedom. His work combines urban references, nods to art history and icons of contemporary visual culture.. This hybridisation creates a unique universe where abstraction, figuration and graphic codes derived from graffiti come together.
His compositions, often dense and vibrant, play on the contrast between order and chaos, precision and spontaneity..
